Celebrating some long-awaited success: my music is selling online through sheetmusicplus.com and sheetmusicdirect.com - both my pop arrangements and original songs.
Last year there were some purchases of my SATB arrangement of Crowded House's Don't Dream It's Over which has now sold in 3 different countries (USA, Ireland and Australia). This year I sold two original compositions, my songs based on Psalms 34 and 111 - one was bought in the US and the other in Canada.
Plus, I just heard that 10 copies of my female-voice arrangement of the carol What Child Is This were purchased somewhere in the US, and because the song is public domain I get 50% commission on the sale just as if it was an original piece. It's not enough for me to give up my day job, but it's very encouraging all the same!
